Visit the State Youth Livestock Program website for all Kansas State Fair and Kansas Junior Livestock Show animal Nomination information. Read carefully and pay attention to deadlines- they are firm.

What are the nomination dates?

May 1- Market Steers and Market Heifers 

June 15- Commercial Heifers, Market Lambs, Commercial Ewes, Market Hogs, Commercial Gilts, and ALL Meat Goats (Market Goats, Commercial Does, and Registered Does)


4-H /FFA Commercial Female Certificate

A commercial female is one without registration papers or not eligible to register in a breed association. Fill out a female certificate and return it to the Extension Office by May 1 of the year to be showed.
